Julio Chabarria
Manager Information Technology
As IT Manager, Julio Chabarria leads Advanced Circuits’ information and network infrastructure
team. Under his direction, IT supports all departments to make sure Advanced Circuits is always
ready to take a customer’s order, produce the printed circuit boards, and deliver them on time.
Julio’s philosophy, that IT processes must support business goals, has helped pioneer some of
the company’s most revolutionary automated processes such as creating My 4PCB, an online service
center for customers.
Julio’s extensive IT experience began in his native Mexico where he was a network administrator
for Hidrogenadora Yucateca. From there, he became a senior software development and project
manager for Royal4 Systems, overseeing installation and training for their ERP software
packages. In this position, Julio performed customization for customers on-site in the US and
Latin America. His introduction to Advanced Circuits came when the company purchased a Royal4
system and Julio oversaw the implementation. Inspired by the problem-solving nature of the
company, Julio joined Advanced Circuits permanently in January 2003.
To the exasperation of his friends and family, Julio is a “natural” at most everything he tries.
He enjoys sports of all kinds and is active in two competitive soccer teams. In fact, before
choosing a career in IT, Julio had the opportunity to play professional soccer (“football” to
the rest of the world), which he declined, opting for a college education instead.
