We will view the files from the "Component" side looking down, through the printed circuit board. "Solder" side is ALWAYS on bottom. Strategic placement of targets helps to ensure correct orientation of each layer (i.e. 3 targets, UPPER-LEFT; UPPER-RIGHT; and LOWER-LEFT). Including your part number and/or company name on copper layers (Right-Reading from the respective side of the board) prevents your board from being build inverted (Top on Bottom, Bottom on Top).
Printed Circuit board outline (FAB LINES) included with Gerber's helps to ensure correct size and shape. We cut to center of board outline.
An accurate FAB PRINT is required to ensure dimensions are followed correctly. This will allow verification of drill sizes by quality control. Please do not hesitate to include any information that you think may be unusual –
it may prevent a delay of shipment.
